School Uniform

North Farnborough Infant School Uniform

We believe uniform looks smart and contributes to a sense of belonging. The majority of children come to school in the correct uniform and the policy has in the past been supported by parental surveys and strongly recommended by Governors and the Friends.  Variations for varying ethnic or cultural groups will be accommodated and should be discussed with the Headteacher.

The Uniform

• School Sweatshirt, or cardigan *
• School Book Bag*
• White shirt/blouse or polo shirt
• Grey skirt/pinafore dress or trousers
• OR for Summer red and white check/gingham dress or grey shorts/skorts
• White or grey socks or grey or black tights
• Footwear – sensible black shoes as part of the uniform

PE Kit

• PE Bag*
• Red t-shirt*
• Navy shorts
• Navy jogging bottoms
• Trainers

Indoor, the children will be in bare feet, but for outdoor sports they will need a pair of sensible trainers. 

Items marked * can only be purchased from Brenda's. All other items are available from any supermarkets.

NO jewellery can be worn to school with the exception of small stud earrings.  For safety reasons we would discourage the wearing of earrings, particularly on days when PE takes place. During these lessons earrings MUST be removed by the child or covered with sticking plasters.  Long hair should be secured away from the face.

The school accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to watches or stud earnings worn to school.
