Music

Music enriches the lives of all individuals and communities. It is an important area of the curriculum, developing the skills of listening, making sounds with the voice or instruments, and using thought in a logical manner. Music and Drama are closely inter-related, and it is our aim to ensure that all children have first hand experience of creating and making music through drama, instrument playing and roleplay. Enjoyment is a key aim.

We offer a wide range of musical opportunities at North Farnborough Infant School where children are encouraged to compose, perform and enjoy all aspects of music. Opportunities to listen and appreciate the diversity of musical traditions and cultures are also given.
