At North Farnborough Infant School, children explore and develop their skills and creativity using a wide range of media.  We provide the children with opportunities to draw, paint and sculpt to develop techniques in using colour, pattern, texture, line, shape, form and space. The children will learn to use a range of different materials and technology creatively to design and make products. They will also learn to appreciate and celebrate the work of a diverse range of artists, craft makers and designers. Art will provide all children with the opportunity to express themselves imaginatively, celebrating our diversity and developing their understanding of, and response to, the world around them. The children will develop a deeper understanding of art and design as they progress through the school, exploring the impact it has on contemporary life, and that of different times and cultures.
