Safeguarding

Safeguarding at North Farnborough Infant School

Safeguarding determines the actions that we take to keep children safe and protect them from harm in all aspects of their school life. As a school, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our pupils.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility; all members of staff have a duty to safeguard our pupils' welfare and are trained to do so. All staff and volunteers at North Farnborough Infant School undergo checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and are fully familiar with our Safeguarding Policy and Child Protection Policy.

In all matters relating to safeguarding and child protection, the School will follow the procedures set out by Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership together with DfE guidance contained in:

Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 and

Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE 2021).

If you have any concerns regarding the safety or well-being of a child or children at the school come and talk to the team.
