TRANSITION INFORMATION

3 & 4 September

Virtual ‘home visits’

You should have received your time slot in the post.

7 & 8 September

Visit to school with one parent in small groups.

This session will take place outside to allow children and parents to meet their teachers. This will last approximately 40 minutes.

Please bring a picnic blanket to sit on.

9 & 10 September

Stay and Play

Groups of 10 children invited in for a session.

Parents will have to leave the school site due to Government guidelines not allowing groups larger than 6 to gather.

14  September –

18 September

Optional morning or full time sessions with staggered start times.

Staggered start times on Monday 14th September only:

Maple Class will arrive at 9:00-9:10

Silver Birch Class will arrive 9:10-9:20

 

The rest of the week: 9am – 9.10am

21 September

All children in school full time.

 

 

DROP OFF AND PICK UP INFORMATION - from Tuesday 15th September

At the start of the day

  • We will stagger arrival times for different year group - see table below for your child’s timings.  Please make sure you read the ‘Safe Social Distancing for Parents’ guide so you are clear about our entrance and exit procedures whilst on site.

 *These timings need to be strictly followed to ensure that there is no mixing between year group pods.

*Only one adult is to accompany children to school

*Parents/carers should not gather at the school gates to talk to other families. Pathways must be clear for other parents and children making their way towards the school site.

 

At the end of the day

Staggered departure times (see table below).

 *As mentioned previously these timings need to be strictly followed to ensure that there is no mixing between year group pods.

*Children attending Conker Club will be taken to the Hall by school staff.

 

For those families with children in different year groups, we expect both children to be dropped off at the earliest time slot and picked up at the latest time slot.
