Please click on the link here to read how to apply to a school place in a Hampshire School.

Applications open on 1st November 2025 and close on 15th January 2026.

Applications are NOT processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

How do I apply for an in-year transfer between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026?

An in-year admission is when a child needs an immediate school place during the school year.

There are two main reasons for this. You might be moving house or unhappy with your child’s current school.

You can apply for an in-year place up to four weeks before the place is needed.

To make an application, you may do so online via the Hampshire County Council website or contact the school for a paper copy. Applications will then be processed by County admissions.

Once received by the school, we will aim to notify you of the outcome of your application within 10 school days, but at the latest, within 15 school days.  Where an application is refused, you have the right to appeal here.
