Tolerance of Different Faiths and Beliefs
How we promote this |
- We have high expectations of pupil conduct and this is reflected in our relationships and behaviour policy and single equality policy.
- Tolerance of different faiths and beliefs is promoted through the Hampshire County Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education –Living Difference. Children learn about different religions, their beliefs, places of worship and festivals.
- This is supplemented by assemblies, which also mark and celebrate significant religious festivals.
- Visits are made by the local church to run assemblies half-term and also to support the curriculum and the children also visit the local church.
